Alexandre and Dimitri Colomb, great-grand-sons of the founders of our winery in 1923 in Auvernier, Switzerland, Ernest Isenschmid Senior and Albert Mühlematter:
> Alexandre, HES-engineer-oenologist, is in charge of the culture and the oenology parts and passionates himself for the raise of our wines.
> Dimitri, HES-economist of Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne and ASSP sommelier, focalises his activities on sales, marketing and communication.
> typical wines from the Neuchâtel region
> wines raised in oak barrels and specialties
> plot wines, the finest mono-grape crus benefiting from unique micro-climates
Our winery as well as our vineyard are located in Auvernier, a small (and beautiful!) village in the area of Neuchâtel.
The tradition of wine making in this part of Switzerland goes back to 58 BC.
A "bouvet-jabloir" is specific plane which was used by coopers to craft oak barrels...and before being a winemaker, our great-grand father was a cooper!
