This "parcellaire" Pinot noir is the first Grand Terroir wine which we raised, stemming from a unique microclimate. Our wish was to propose an elegant, yet fruity Pinot noir with a lot of delicacy coming from the terroir.
Matured during 24 months in taylor-made barrels, of which the wood has directly been chosen in the forest, the work on the elegance is exactly brought up by these oak barrels. The aromatic intensity is concentrated: red berries with black flesh, notes of limestone and gravel and the maturation brings an additional length in mouth, always with tension and freshness.
Of a light ruby color, expressing the delicacy of the Pinot noir, this wine presents an exceptional aromatic balance with silky tannins in mouth.
Stemming 100% from the parcel "Les Tires" in Auvernier, this wine benefits from a unique terroir and micro-climate. The best soils in terms of nutriments were selected in parallel to the age of the vines, which are almost 60 years old. Hence, a low yield on these old vines is ideal to concentrate the varietal aromas of this Pinot noir.
