Gamaret-Pinot Noir raised in barrel Signature

> Gold medal at the canton Selection 2016

Since its first vintage in 2004 until today, this blend has always been appreciated by lovers of profound and robust wines. Young, will be very fruit driven: blackberries, blackcurrant accompanied by secondary aromas such as the licorice and the tight tannins. After a few years in bottle, tannins become silky and accompany tertiary aromas of cooked plum, leather and smoke. This growing complexity is the result 14 months maturing in barrels.

Of a dark violet color, expressing at the same time the robustness of Gamaret and elegance of the Pinot Noir, this wine gives a feeling of extended pleasure in mouth. Stemming from the parcels "Les Grand'Vignes" and "Les Tires" in Auvernier, this blend is well balanced and complex.

Tasting notes

Eye

A dark violet color, a deep robe with light purple borders and dense tears.

Nose

Steady aromas of red berries with black flesh, a positive "animal" side and a lot of aromatic intensity. Aromas of prunes punctuated by a leather touch.

Mouth

A powerful attack and a dense tannic volume. A corpulent wine in mouth, well developed with a persistent finale, with roundness.
