Our Pinot Noir Signature holds a very exclusive place in our assortment, twice credited with 91 points by the Robert Parker's Wine Advocate guide and ranked twice among the 100 best Pinot Noir in the world at the « Mondial des Pinot ».

For a long time one of the flagships of the region, the Pinot Noir grape has become a wine icon which must express itself with elegance, fruitiness and a subtle woodiness.

The Pinot Noir Signature, is the result of a twelve month aging in oak barrels. It represents the know-how and elegance of our winery with coated, tender and silky tannins.

With a dark garnet red color, this vintage has a magnificent aromatic balance. From the plots « Les Sagnardes » and « Les Tires » in Auvernier, the very old vines planted by our great-grandfather in 1966 and 1964 have a natural low yield and thus concentrate the aromas.

Tasting notes

Eye

A dark ruby color, still made of purple borders, synonymic of youth. A deep robe for a Pinot noir. Smooth tears showing a medium alcohol level.

Nose

A high aromatic intensity of red berries with black flesh. Aromas of blackberries punctuated by a touch of new leather and eucalyptus.

Mouth

Complex flavors and already smooth tannins, which will get rounder with a few years in bottle. An elegant wine in mouth, well developed with a persistent finale.
